Charles “Chuck” Luby
Worldwide Project Compressor Engineer at ResMed Motor Technologies
Charles "Chuck" Luby is a well respected and highly regarded engineer with 20 years of active design experience in compressed air systems, designing both lubricated and oil free compressor systems. His expertise spans compressor designs from low horsepower systems operating at 5 PSI to high pressure 4-stage reciprocating units at 6000 PSI up to 100 HP. He has designed reciprocating compressor components including crankshafts, pistons, cylinders, and inlet/discharge valves.
He brings 25 years of collaborative teamwork, working alongside domestic and international engineering teams (including China and Mexico) to deliver quality products on time and on budget. He has conceived, designed, developed and released over 60 new products including engine driven and electric air compressors, power tools and pressure washers for industrial, commercial and retail sites nationwide.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.
